It has been a long time since we’ve had an MMA or Muay Thai class. I feel that it’s because I’ve tried to take too much on and over inundated my self with work. I’m happy to announce that we are bringing/brought back the Muay Thai program as well as the MMA program! It’s been a long time since I’ve had these classes. 5 to 6 years! Now with the help of two very amazing individuals, Professor/Coach Chuck Reybourn and Coach Doug Christofis we now have a full fledged Muay Thai and MMA program! I’m very grateful for these two and for what they have done so far to bring the program to where it is today! I look forward to working with everyone and helping train the future champions of Muay Thai and MMA!

More information about  our Muay Thai program!

The Muay Thai we offer is an authentic and traditional program that teaches the traditions and techniques of Muay Thai!

Muay Thai, or Thai Boxing, is the national sport and cultural martial art of Thailand. It was developed several hundreds of years ago as a form of close-combat that utilizes the entire body as a weapon. Muay Thai is referred to as “The Art of Eight Limbs”; and using eight points of contact the body mimics weapons of war. The hands become the sword and dagger; the shins and forearms were hardened in training to act as armor against blows, and the elbow to fell opponents like a heavy mace or hammer; the legs and knees became the axe and staff. The body operated as one unit. The knees and elbows constantly searching and testing for an opening while grappling and trying to spin an enemy to the ground for the kill.

Our Muay Thai program provides our students with the knowledge of these old skills, and the practical application of these techniques into the modern fight sport. Our Muay Thai program offers Muay Thai group and private classes for all skill levels, from beginner to competitive fighters.
